My first project: A laptop stand that can rotate, up/down and pivot. Mounts to available bolts in the Side Board. Made from the wood (18mm) i had laying around.

Very nice project. But not shared for the public?
Panos Gerontis · December 28, 2017
You have not shared this publicly
Carl Brink · December 29, 2017

Hans T · December 29, 2017
I think if you open it in Easel there is an option to share it public
Panos Gerontis · December 31, 2017
Still not shared to public.
YML · January 02, 2018

Traxxtar · January 02, 2018
Is it shared now?
Hans T · January 05, 2018
Yes, now shared. Thank you

Nice job! You may want to consider cutting some holes in the tray for better heat dissipating.
Neil A · January 19, 2018
Thats a Great Idea!
Brian Hoelscher · May 12, 2018
This is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

Hello again. I just cut this project out and the only thing that I see is that the cuts do not properly fit into the cutouts for the mounts. Everything else is spot on.
David Sease · October 08, 2018
Good day all. I just cut this out and used 3/4" MDF it looks like it is intended for 1/2" just a FYI for anyone wanting to cut one of these for themselves.

Stupid question.... but... what type of hardware is used on the base so it can pivot?
Jeremy Austin · March 07, 2019
newbie here how do i use someone elses design on here. i for some reason dont see it
Kathy Wilt · May 11, 2020
sorry i found it lol
Kathy Wilt · May 11, 2020
What did you use to make the base pivot?
Seth Bruins · June 12, 2020
No hardware needed to pivot. Wood against wood.
Mike Phillips · October 27, 2020
New to CNC which bit is best to cut this? and how long should this take to cut? shortest I can get is 4hr I believe.
Colby Lucier · January 22, 2021
The circle part of the base that the mounts are on goes in the square base but I can't see what hardware is used through the holes in the center so that it can be stable and rotate.
John Choate · April 08, 2021
I like it.
Kenny Yates · October 12, 2021
really like the design, sadly had issues with base hole placement, not matching gthe xcarve sideboard that I recieved, should probably note the year and specs somewhere. Also the notches for the 6 curved rotation pieces does not match if you use 3/4 ply, OTHERWISE great design and idea, thanks
