This is a holder for the clamp set from Inventables that I got with my 1000^2 X-C. I like the clamp set a lot, it’s never failed me and has always performed well, just didn’t have a way to keep everything organized and laid out in a way that makes it easy to find what I need quickly, time is money.

I will have to remake this is easel and then upload the separate files used for cutting this. This is a multi-phase project where the labels are cut first, then the pockets and finally, the outline. I originally designed this in V-carve pro 9 requires and a 1/32" and 1/8" butting bits
Drew
Finally got the Easel file of the Organizer up on, you'll have to tweak the speeds and feeds and really anything else you wish! Keep in mind this was exported from v carve pro as an SVG so I'm not sure how accurate this all is. Hope this makes things easier for everyone!
Drew
Hi I am new to the x carve world and had a question. When I download the steps above and open it on easel it shows the tool paths but not a piece of material. Is that normal or am i doing something wrong? I have all of my stuff in a box and would like to organize it. Thanks
Anthony Rossi
Also how do i know what size material I need to fit everything and not run off the board?
Anthony Rossi
Hello Anthony, the materials I used to cut this on is on the thicker side, I used edgeglued panels from Home Depot they’re about $20 each, they’re 6’L 17.75W and between .65” and .69” thick. This will change from panel to panel I’ve found so be sure to mic its thickness before cutting.
Drew
Also, as for the files, if you want to skip the individual tool paths I originally uploaded, you can just open the project and then you can customize it however you want. The step by step files are non changeable as they’re just imported g-code files. Hope this helps, upload pictures!
Drew
If you open the project in easel (the blue button) you can change the thickness of the materials you want to use to make a thinner version, if I remember right, the pockets cut on this project aren’t very deep and there is some room to play around with, good luck!
Drew
Thank you, that is very helpful. Im just experimenting with the xcarve right now so I do not have much knowledge on the programming aspect. I will work on this and post pictures when finished. Thanks again!
Anthony Rossi
Not a problem, glad it’s working out, it gets easier quickly. Welcome to Inventables and congrats on getting your machine. It’ll change you life and Inventables customer support rivals Disney’s. Have fun!
Drew
Andrew,
When I click the "Open in Easel" blue button it states that the project has not been shared publicly. Can you please share for open in Easel
George Rathbun
Sorry for the delay, I just change the settings again to make it active, not sure why it changed back but it should be good to go now, Share pics please! Even if you modify!!
Drew
Becky- should only take a couple of hours with the run time and swapping you cutting tools. I think there are 3 different sizes used in this design.
Drew
Then I must be doing something wrong, its been running for hours. First part was over 5 hours. Second part is still 7 hrs left.....
Becky Binder
Just make sure when you open in easel you change the text of the clamp from 46 to 66. noticed this after it started carving it, lol. no big deal.
Rick Smith
Rick Smith- thanks for letting me know it was off, I’m not really too sure how that happened as this is the exact file I used to cut the one in the image. Interesting. I’ll try and get on over the next few days and correct it. Thanks -Drew
