One of the most exciting and fun projects I’ve built to date! This turned out to be a great musical instrument and with some patience during the tuning process, I’m sure you can achieve just as beautiful sounding instrument as I did. Let’s play!

What was the tuning program you used on the Macintosh?
Chris Goodman, Sr.
Hi Chris, I used the tuner that comes with GarageBand. Now I’m not near the mac but I think it is under Window menu at the top. It opens as a pop up and as long as the built in mic is on, it works.

I love it! especially because I do percussion and marimba!

Easel shows it being 10 by 4. What is the actual size?
garrett effley
Hi Garrett, the top is 59 x 20 cm. You can set Easel to show MM instead of IN if you prefer.
Cristiana Felgueiras
This is beuatiful! Really High quality craftsmanship! I want to make one and love the size in the video. Can you tell us the overall dimensions? (L x W x H).
Jeff Jones
Did you cut a hole in the side of the box? I can't tell from the video.

I've noticed that there are only ten tongues. Do you know of a version that has twelve tongues (full chromatic scale in major or minor key) or an alternative . Thanks. BTW It sounds great. Love to hear it with a Fishmans piezo pickup stuck inside. WcW
