Use 3/4 plywood and a 1/4 bit. One chair is split up in to two files.

You should have holes where screws will go. I forget what kind I used. Probably 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inch screws will work. Use woodglue as well.
What was your process to port the design files over to Easel? I love Open Desk and have even considered joining a local maker space to carve up some items since they have a 4'x8' ShopBot!

It has been a while since I've done this. I think I imported the files from Open Desk in to inkscape, saved that as an svg, then imported it in to Easel. Some adjustments had to be made to be sure I scaled everything correctly.

Manuel, I have noticed the same issue and should have mentioned it. Leaning back in this chair is not the greatest. You may hear some cracking or it could break. This may be better with other kinds of plywood.
