This is for a simple stand to hold a piece of stone about 12″×12″×1″. I engraved the stone and needed a stand to support it. I had a small set of hinges laying around that I used to secure to together.

Lay the two long edges together and mount the hinges on the inside; be sure to line the bottoms together.

Once its assembled you can paint or stain the stand. I used a flat black spray paint and covered with a weather proof spray for it to be displayed outside on a patio where it wont see to much rain.

You can choose to change the material and sizes if you wish.

Enjoy.
