1

Generate your snowflake

Alrighty, firstly you need to play with this snowflake generator and make yourself a pretty design: http://blog.inventables.com/2014/11/snowflake-generator.html

When it’s looking real nice-like, save out an .svg.

2

Import into Easel

Open up Easel (or whatever software you’re using) and import the .svg you just created. Add a hole for hanging it if you please, and resize/rotate until you’re happy.

3

Make it!

Send it to the machine and let it rip! Repeat endlessly or variably until you’ve had your fill of the holiday spirit.

Nice. I make them out of old CD's or DVD's

The snowflake generator program is blocked in my region because it is part of a range of addresses associated with malware. The .me extension is also a concern for those in charge of filtering. Can this generator be hosted elsewhere? I would love to use it with students but am unable to do so.
