Inspired by criznach and dnos in the Shapeoko forums, I built a box for the SO2’s bare electronics. This design includes room for future A-axis and end-stop sensors, manual and G-code spindle and coolant control, pause/continue, and e-stop buttons.

Could you post the files for the panels?

I sure can. Note the new .zip file. Remember, DeskProto was inaccurate in its dead-reckoning tool path calculations. However, you can step back to the 2D outlines I created in 3DSMax and use the spline offset tool to create your own tool paths and export them to the CAM program of your choosing.

Excellent enclosure. Downloaded the files to make this enclosure, really well documented. I'd like to make this on a local lasercutter for my shapeoko 2. I don't have 3dsmax, just inkscape. Any software you recommend to convert the enclosure to a plain svg file?

Hi Sean. Sorry for the delay. I added a zip file with an Illustrator and ACAD DWG file within. Hope that gets you where you wanna go.
Best,
Michael
