1

Secure aluminum to fixture

5 minutes

Use the ‘12×12 Sheet Fixture’:https://www.inventables.com/projects/12×12-sheet-fixture to secure the aluminum using rigid double sided tape or painter’s tape and CA glue strategy.

Note:
REV uses 2mm (about 0.080") aluminum for these brackets.
YMMV depending on your application with 0.062" thick aluminum which is 80% as thick as the 2mm aluminum.

2

Carve aluminum

5 minutes

Carve the aluminum using the Easel project.

Notes:
– Use lubricant/cooling to extend the life of the bit
– Use a brush or compressed air to remove the chips to improve finish and extend the life of the bit

3

Release the part

3 minutes

Release the part using a knife, chisel, putty knife or similar. The whole sheet can be removed easily using the screwdriver/prybar release slot on the bottom of the fixture’s cutting area.

4

Debur

5 minutes

Debur the part as needed.
