Watch the Video!

7 minutes

Watch my video of this project then make one yourself!

2

Customize the Design!

Click the button at the top of this page to open the project in EASEL. You can customize the text and adjust the number of holes for keychain pegs. Below are supplies I used:
Baltic Birch 24″×30″×0.5″
Axel Pegs from Hobby Lobby
Spraypaint
Wood Glue
Spray Lacquer
Angle Aluminum and Screws
Hanging Hardware

3

Carve the Project!

45 minutes

Mount the plywood sideways on the X-Carve. Install a 1/8" bit and check all settings. Carve the letters and holes. Sand it smooth. Mask off the letters and spray inside the letter pockets. Sand off any excess paint. Glue in the pegs.

4

Trim the Edges!

30 minutes

Trim the edges using angle aluminum. Cut mitered corners and drill holes for screws. Screw the pieces to the edges of the board. Add hanging hardware to the back.

5

Display Keychains!

Hang the display rack securely on the wall, then add the keychains and enjoy!
