Find your board placement
Cut your legs the thickness of the top board and leave and 8" tenon to go up thru the top board
Find center of the 4ft board Mark the legs about 6" from the ends and center them in the board
Trace your legs.

Drill and Cut
Cut your leg holes in top.
First drill a holes in each corner
use the jig saw or saw saw to cut most of the tenon out and then use the chisel to finsh up for a good fit.

Carve it
Set up the Easel program to fit your legs and top and cut out the feet and family sign

Paint
Paint the inside of the letters black and the same to the feet

Planer/sander
Use the planer or sander to remove the paint from the top portion of the wood. This should only leave the black in the letters and feet.

Assembly
Now just use a little wood glue and put it together. Use the clear paint to seal off the wood from water damage . You can put what ever water proofing finish you want . I just used clear spray paint.
