What are the dimensions of the plywood (especially the thickness)? Is it 1/8 or 1/2?
Le Roy Chappell
Le Roy the material is 1/2" baltic birch
Jeff Richmond
All you that copied this file how did they spin???
Jeff Richmond
Any idea the weight limit of this chair
David Ireland
David Ireland, these are very stout using 1/2 Baltic birch. I have no doubt they could hold 150# but don’t know of any 150# 3-7 year olds

timothy orourke

Narciso Martinez
Narciso Martinez the few I have sold went for $120, mostly I just made them for my granddaughters.
Jeff Richmond
I carved one out just for fun and they are very nice and sturdy. great job
Narciso Martinez
Jeff, Great Project. I have one question. Can this be carved on the 750 x 750 X Carve? This is the one I have. What size X Carve did you carve these on? Thanks in advance
Kenny Byrom
Kenny Byrom
My xcarve is 1000
So I am not sure if it will work on the 750 try it and see if it fits
Jeff Richmond
Jeff - is this meant to be cut on the shape or outside. When I carved on the shape, it was super tight to the point I needed a hammer to assemble and could not get slots fully seated.
Sam Smothers
I’ll be honest Sam it has been sometime since I made one of these, however I do remember using a dead blow putting them together, if you use a sanding block on the inside of the slots you should get some relief. You don’t want the joints to be sloppy because kids will be kids
