When the 3D carving is done, remove the ball end mill thats currently in the spindle, and replace it with a 2flute flat end mill (preferable downcut or straight flutes). Repeat step 2 but instead of selecting the ball endmill file, select the flat endmill file (labeled as second operation). Remove the material from your Carvey. You’ll notice there are some tabs holding it in place. You should be able to pop it out of the material as it is. If not you can use a wire cutter to quickly snip cut the tabs. Once removed, there will be nubs of wood where the tabs were, sand these down smooth.
Optionally, you can also sand the inside of the dish smooth, but it should be fairly smooth coming out of the machine.
