prepare the wood

5 minutes

prepare the bamboo ply wood piece and make sure of the alignment, the dimensions don’t allow for a lot of tolerance

open the easel project and carve

58 minutes

once the bamboo piece is secured properly to your CNC, start the carve. best to use 1/8 inch up-cut bit if you have to minimize the face tearout

finishing

120 minutes

once done, clean out the tabs and take out the clock body and apply 2 coats of finish. I applied some polyurethane coats, it gave a nice look and feel to the clock

add the mechanics

10 minutes

you will need a clock mechanism with a long shaft to adapt with the wood thickness, you will also need it to have a holder on the body as wel.

Secure the clock mechanism to the back of the clock, set the time, and hang it on the wall
